Bobby Joe Herron

Bobby Joe Herron, 87, of Curtis, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 9, 2022. 

He was born February 8, 1935, in Curtis to Chester and Emma Taylor Herron. 

Bobby served his country proudly with The United State Air Force during The Vietnam Conflict. 

During this time, he earned the rank of Senior Master Sargent working as an engineer until his retirement.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Christine Herron; his daughters, Glenda Lillard of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Pam Shuman of St. Louis, Illinois, Terri Abaffe of Ohio and Melissa Flowers of Bismarck, Arkansas; his son, William Hardin of Oklahoma; his brothers, Kenny Herron and Johnny Herron both of Curtis and his special friends, Buster and Barbara Karr. 

Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to cancer research. 

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
