Bobby R. Patrom of El Paso, Arkansas was born on June 14, 1933, in El Paso, Arkansas to Clarence Fred “Pate” and Maggie May (Blasingame) Patrom. He passed away November 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Bailey Patrom, his parents, brothers, Bennie John, Bill, and James, sisters, Jane Morse, Freda Rusnak, Susie McNeely, and Betty Hester. He is survived by his 4 children, sons, Ronny (Charlene) Chambers, Bobby Patrom, Toby (Terra) Patrom and daughter, Sondra (Corey) Wooldridge. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Harold (Sue) Patrom, Danny Patrom, Dwight (Debbie) Patrom and Ronnie (Janie) Patrom. He also had 9 grandchildren, Debra (Anthony) Thacker, Rebecca Cockrum, Gabe (Lacy) Chambers, Jade (Devin) Pilgrim, Zach (DeAnna) Shannon, Tanner Patrom, Bailey (Jill) Patrom, Connor (Brienne) Patrom and Rachel Patrom. He also had 13 great grandchildren, Hannah Jackson, Jordan Black, Emmett Patrom, Maxwell Cockrum, Elijah Haskell, Penelope Cockrum, Tucker Pilgrim, Jeter Patrom, Maeve Chambers, Brooks Patrom, Beckett Patrom, Mallory Pilgrim, and Arabella Thacker. He also had 2 great, great grandchildren, Oliver Jackson and Lennon Jackson. Bob was the 4th of 12 siblings which greatly contributed to his hard work ethic and competitiveness. He worked hard his whole life all the way up to his very last day here on earth. He did everything from farming, working on the turnpike, owning a store, a butcher shop, a pool hall. He also even tried selling cars. In 1965, he found his true calling. He went to work for AMPI as a milk truck driver. During the 80’s, he was a volunteer fireman with the El Paso volunteer fire department. He coached little league baseball for several years. He was able to retire from AMPI after 30 years but missed driving a big truck and visiting with all the farmers every day. He decided to buy a dump truck. He filled his days with hauling material all over central Arkansas and meeting lots of people. He finally hung that up at the age of 80. His 2nd retirement still included working. This time he decided to get back into cattle farming and try his hand at cutting a little hay. Little did we know, this venture would turn into a family adventure. He recruited his brothers, his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, in laws and maybe a few outlaws to help him out. Bob never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone and by the end of that conversation, he figured out you were either kinfolk or he knew someone in your family. He loved watching all sports, especially his Arkansas Razorbacks, taking drives, checking cows, watching squirrels and birds out his back door, playing 31 and Rook and keeping us entertained with the greatest stories. He had a great love for his family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed all of his 92 years.Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W.
