Bobby G. Penix, 74, of Ward, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 7, 2009. He was a retired machinist and a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church of God in Beebe, where he served as a head usher, greeter and served on the church board.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Timmy Penix.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Franks Penix; two sons, Jerrell Penix and wife Khreshia of Leachville, Arkansas and Bobby Joe Penix and wife Gail of Hornersville, Missouri; one daughter, Rebecca Cole and husband Jamie of Harrison, Arkansas; two stepsons, Joel Ponder of Homer, Louisiana and Thomas Ponder of Midland, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers.
