Bobby Earl Smither, born on August 28, 1933, in Belfast, Arkansas, passed away on August 1, 2025. A cherished figure in his community, Bobby worked at Myers Bakery for 14 years before continuing his career at Safeway Bakery, where he dedicated many years of his life before retiring.

Bobby proudly served in the Army National Guard for 21 years, exemplifying his commitment to his country and our community. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness and welcoming nature, always making others feel at ease. His warm sense of humor brought joy to countless lives. Bobby held a deep love for his family, cherishing especially the time spent with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

His legacy of service extended beyond his military commitment; Bobby spent significant time as a Deacon at 47th Street Baptist Church, where he was a longtime and devoted member.

Bobby is survived by his beloved daughters, Paula Kay Barrett (Bob) and Judy Lyons; his grandchildren, Jeff Lyons (Christina), Jason Barrett (Belinda), Keith Lyons (Elizabeth), and Kelly Barrett; and his great-grandchildren, Tyler Barrett, Alexis Lyons, Cameron Rickman, Max Lyons, and Jaxon Lyons.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Winnie Smither; his siblings Grover Smither, Lorine, Phillip Smither, Kenneth Smither, Eugene Smither, Raymond (Doc) Smither; and his son-in-law, Tommy Lyons.

Visitation will be held on August 8, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Smith North Little Rock Family Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.

Bobby Earl Smither will be remembered for his enduring spirit, his passion for life, and the love he shared with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
