Bobby Olen Taylor, 79, of Maumelle, passed away July 17, 2012. Born in Okemah, Oklahoma to Olen Crady and Pearl Walden Taylor, he was a U.S. Army veteran and an alumnus of the University of Tulsa. He spent his lifetime in the pest control business and was on the Boards of the National Pest Control Association and the Greater Memphis Pest Control Association. Bobby was also a licensed pilot. He was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sharron Wilcox Taylor; daughters, Julie Stovall (David) of Memphis, Tennessee, Janie Taylor (Andrew Rose) of Mountain View, California, Susan Taylor (Jeffrey Iseminger) of Madison Lake, Minnesota and Beth Huneycutt (Paul) of Bristol, Tennessee; step-son, Craig Busbea (Stephanie) of Jackson, Tennessee; step-daughters, Tamela Turbeville (Richard) of Whitehall and Angela McCrary (Brian) of Dumfries, Virginia; brother, Ledgel Taylor (Shirley) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sister, Leatta Burns (Fred) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and fifteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, beginning at 12:00 noon until the service at 1:00 p.m. at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dave Hughey. Interment with Military Honors will be Friday, July 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
