Bonnie Edgar ?Ed? Garrett, 93, of El Paso passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009. He was of the Baptist faith, loved spending time in the woods on his four wheeler and an Endowed Scholarship Fund was created for Mr. Garrett in honor of his carpentry skills.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Garrett Posey, of Pine Bluff; son, Tom Garrett, of Sherwood; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Mae Heslep Garrett; son, Kenneth Garrett; daughter, Doris Garrett Whittemore; and his second wife, Evelyn Lloyd Garrett.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
