Bonnie Michelle Cogburn, age 49, of Glenwood, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
She was born on February 20, 1971 in Fort Benning, Georgia, the daughter of Michael James Spinks and Bobbie Sue Graves Spinks. Her father, a retired Army veteran who served in Vietnam and received three purple hearts and two bronze stars, passed away in 2015 as a result of exposure to Agent Orange. On November 22, 2014, she was married to Billy Cogburn.
Bonnie was always smiling, always happy and a blessing to others. She was known to look after everyone else’s needs before she would her own. She loved spending time taking care of her chickens.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Cogburn of Glenwood; three children and their spouses, Corina Ann and John Worley of Hot Springs, Johnathan Hank and Beth Boyd and Steven Aaron Wayne Boyd, all of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Boyd and Logan Donald Boyd; her mother, Bobbie Spinks of Greeneville, Tennessee; two sisters, Lisa Diane Spinks of Greeneville, Tennessee and Melladee Renee Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona; and her foster sister, Tamera Gayle Powell of Angel Camp, California.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood.
Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 50 persons at any one time in the funeral home chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering to enter.
