Bonnie Brooks Sharp

Bonnie Faye Brooks Sharp, age 84, passed away on October 19, 2023. She was born on April 18, 1939 in Scott Arkansas to Ben "Buddy" Marvin Brooks Sr. and Clara Evelyn Elmore Brooks.

Bonnie graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School in 1956 and immediately went to work for First National Bank in Little Rock where she had a 28-year career and ultimately rose to Vice President of the Audit Department. In 1988 she began working at Terri Lynn's Deli for her brother Jim where she worked for 16 years. Bonnie was an avid gardener and crafter. She loved working at the bank and deli where she made a lot of friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter, Dayna Duncan (Ted) of Maumelle; grandson, Corbin Otwell (Mary Ruth) of Little Rock. sister-in-law, Carolyn Brooks; brothers-in-law, Bill Sharp and H.D. Sharp (Mary) of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Sharp; grandson, Clayton Otwell; sister, Dorthy Ellen; brothers, Doyle, Ben and Jim; three sisters-in-law; and two nephews.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 at Concord Cemetery, 105 Concord Church Road, Lonoke, AR, 72086.
