Boyd Cleveland Ferguson

Boyd Cleveland Ferguson, age 70, of Benton, unexpectedly moved from our time into God's eternity on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Cleve was born in El Dorado to Boyd and Emma Lee Ferguson on October 24, 1955. He attended school in El Dorado, Camden, and Little Rock, graduating from Joseph T. Robinson High School in 1974.

Cleve was initially employed by the Sid Hayden Chrysler dealership and later became a professional painter, working primarily for Beard Breeding Painting Company and UAMS.

Cleve was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Jo Hansen, and nephew, Robby Hansen. Survivors include Cammy, his wife of 19 years; sister, Polly Brucker (Dave); step-children, Jonathan Panton, Jennifer Phillips (Josh), Doug Howell (Whitney) and David Howell; step-grandchildren, Tyler, Caeley, Ethan, Fintan, and Peter; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place at Smith-Benton Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Cleve’s Life to follow at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 1647 Salem Road, Benton AR 72019.
