Brandon Lee Thomas Helms, 32, of Little Rock, passed away February 11, 2013. Born in Millington, Tennessee on August 6, 1980, he grew up in Elm Mott, Texas, lived in Hot Springs and moved back to Texas where he graduated from Connally High School in Waco. After high school, he moved to Arkansas where he met Laura. They married in 2006 and their daughter, Harper, was born in 2008. During his years in Arkansas, Brandon made many friends, enjoyed local music, and spent time outdoors enjoying Arkansas' natural beauty.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Laura Herring Helms; daughter, Harper Helms; father, Bob Helms of Hot Springs; mother, Kim Meredith of Elm Mott; brothers, Ryan Meredith of Waco, Rhys Meredith of Elm Mott and Jason Meredith of Bauxite; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jess Andrew "Andy" Meredith. He was loved by many and will be missed.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. at CrossWalk Family of God, 10600 Colonel Glenn, Ste. 600, officiated by Cory K. Jones.
