Brandon Ford Sink

Brandon Ford Sink, beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

Born June 29, 1983, in Little Rock, Brandon was a fun-loving, boisterous, and daring child. He was fearless, learning to swim unaccompanied by age two, and riding his bike without training wheels by age three.

Brandon immediately distinguished himself as a gifted athlete, mastering every sport he attempted. He was an all-star baseball and basketball player throughout his youth and became an invaluable member of his high school golf team. Brandon enjoyed these pursuits all his life, and later stayed active by also playing kickball, tennis, and softball. Brandon graduated from North Little Rock High School in 2001.

Brandon was a skilled technician who owned and operated Arkansas Automatic Doors & Glass. Brandon’s expertise and tireless work ethic resulted in a loyal customer base that extended across the entire state.

Brandon was a sensitive and big-hearted person. He was always happy to lend a hand to anyone in need, even participating in the cleanup effort after the March 2023 tornado. He was known and loved for his goofy sense of humor, quick wit, and infectious laugh. He took great pride in his personal appearance and was a fastidious dresser; he could often be found wearing a stylish Polo shirt, and he rarely missed an opportunity to don one of his prized pairs of Gucci shoes. Brandon was loved more than he could ever have known, and he will be dearly missed.

Brandon is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buddy, and Betty Sink. He is survived by his mother, Kristie Dunaway; his father and stepmother, Steve, and Laura Sink; his siblings Matthew Sink, Holden Dunaway, John Mark Sink, Zachary Hunter Sink, and Lauren Sink; his maternal grandparents, Jean Landrum (Terry) and Kenneth Sandusky; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other beloved family; and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in North Little Rock, with a service to follow at 1:30. Brandon will be laid to rest at Rest Hills Memorial Park immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas, a long-standing valued customer, at ucpark.org/give In Memory of Brandon Sink; or North Little Rock Parks & Recreation in support of youth golf scholarships and equipment at the Burns Park Golf Course.
