Brian Eric Mizer Sr., born on September 9, 1972, in Columbia, Missouri, passed away on April 4, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is remembered as a vibrant and outgoing individual, whose friendly demeanor made an impression on everyone he met.

Throughout his life, Brian demonstrated a passion for creativity and hands-on activities. He loved painting and creating War Hammer figurines, which showcased his artistic abilities. In addition, Brian enjoyed helping others fix things and had a particular fondness for collecting DVDs. His enthusiasm for pop culture was evident through his love for Star Trek and Star Wars, which brought joy and intrigue to many conversations.

Brian married his beloved wife, Candace Marlar-Mizer, on December 24, 2007. Together, they created a warm and loving family environment that will continue to be cherished by all who knew them.

He is survived by his wife, Candace Marlar-Mizer; mother, Pamela McGraw ; sister, Shannon (Martin) Boone; as well as dear friend Stacia "Itch" Yancy, children, Haley (Evan) Shaw, Jeremiah (Nicole) Shaw, Sarah (Phillip) England, Matthew Shaw, Jennie (Tyler) Wood, Brian E. Mizer Jr., and Angelina Mizer; and grandchildren, Ariana, Gannon, Kalysta, Taylynn, Haze, Scarlett, JJ, and Ellen. Another extension of his family would be his dogs; Max, Riker, Fiona, Garcia, 99, Fornell, and Abby.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Reed; brother-in-law, James Marlar; and dear friend whom he loved like a brother JR Weeks; and aunt, Cathy Sites.

Visitation will be held on April 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Brian's generous spirit, loving heart, and infectious personality touched the lives of many, and he will be profoundly missed by family and friends alike.
