Burnell Bell Hurley, 86, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church, worked at AFCO Metals and Gulf Oil as a bookkeeper and retired in 1980. Her first love was her family. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and yard sales.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Bradburn; grandson, Jason Cook, both of North Little Rock; former husband, Wallace Hurley, of Little Rock; several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ida Lou Bell; sisters, Otha White, Verna Luke, Ruby Heffington, and Glee Shipley and three brothers, Joe, Vane and Berniece Bell.
Memorials may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Heffington Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
