C. Wayne Crolley

C. Wayne Crolley passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1960, in Little Rock, AR.

After graduating college with an MBA, Wayne dedicated 20 years of his life to working for AT&T. His commitment and dedication to his career were evident in the positive impact he made. In addition to his corporate success, Wayne also ventured into entrepreneurship and owned and operated his own business.

Beyond his professional achievements, Wayne was known for his quick wit and sense of humor which brought joy and laughter to those around him and helped create lasting memories.

Wayne's proudest accomplishments extended beyond the workplace. He generously volunteered at SCORE, where he shared his expertise and mentorship with aspiring entrepreneurs. Additionally, Wayne taught at Boots to Business in Jacksonville, AR, helping individuals gain the knowledge and skills needed to start their own businesses.

In his personal life, Wayne was surrounded by a loving family. He was married to Christie for 32 1/2 years, and together they built a strong foundation of love and support. Their daughter, Desiree Nelson, brought immeasurable joy to Wayne's life. Wayne adored his grandsons, Collin Neal, and Deacon Nelson. They were a constant source of happiness for him.

Wayne cherished the bond he had with his mother, Georgia Barnett, who provided endless love and guidance throughout his life. He also shared a close relationship with his brother, Aaron Crolley (Amy) and his stepfather, Barnie Barnett. He is also survived by his father, Carrol Crolley.

Apart from immediate family members, Wayne leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N Market Street, Benton, AR. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 11th at 10:00 AM, also at Smith Benton Funeral Home. Following the service, Wayne will be laid to rest at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton at 11:30 AM. 

The passing of Wayne Crolley leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. His vibrant personality and accomplishments will be remembered fondly. He touched the lives of many and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
