Callie Pauline Pruitt, 82, of Gurdon died in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Sunday, June 11,2006. She was born September 11, 1923 to James Walter and Carrie Hall Terry. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Third Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: Elmer T Pruitt; 2 daughters: Barbara Humphrey and her husband Terry of Houston, TX and Sheryle Yofe and her husband Luis of Minneapolis,MN 2 grandchildren, Angela Head of Friendswood, TX and David Humphrey of Austin, TX 2 great grandchildren Caleb and Callie Head of Friendswood, TX, three sisters Coda Burton and Juanita Grier both of Okolona,AR and Lucille Cox of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox funeral chapel with Rev. Greg Kirksey officiating. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visation will be from 7-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
