Camille S. Littlefield

Camille S. Littlefield, 94, of North Little Rock was born October 23, 1930 in Helena, AR and died August 10, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lorene Bencini Simon and Harold Franklin Simon.

Camille was preceded in death by siblings: Harold F. Simon, Jr, and Jo Abbott; a son, Derek Shelton Littlefield and the father of her children, Shelton Littlefield.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby R. Taylor; two daughters and a son-in-law: Deborah H. Littlefield, Camille L. and David A. Moore. She was a wonderful and loving mother.

Camille liked to sing, swim, roller skate and was a talented dancer in her younger years. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed visiting the NLR Senior Citizens Center.

She was 13, when she started working at the movie theater, in Helena, AR, where she went on to handle the bookkeeping for multiple theaters. Her career stretched over several decades as secretary/bookkeeper for the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and AFSCME (American Federation of State and County Municipal Employees.)

She had a soft heart for those in need, and enjoyed donating to charities and helping the less fortunate. She generously supported Billy Graham, Samaritan’s Purse, Compassion Center of LR, and SMILE Train as well as created Christmas “Shoe Boxes” with toys and supplies for children. Her generosity will be missed by her family and many others. She also loved and took-in stray dogs and cats.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral is at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the funeral home, with burial following in Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock.
