Carl Timothy Browner, 91, of Little Rock, passed away August 15, 2012. He was born in Pangburn to Timothy F. and Mary Edith Yingling Browner. Following graduation from Cotton Plant High School, he worked with the CCC out of Camp Robinson in North Little Rock. During WWII, he was an aircraft and engine mechanic in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He attended tech school and became a television engineer, working at CBS, Channel 11 for 29 years. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church for 57 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Lila Mustin Browner, he is survived by four brothers, Dean (Patricia), Edward (Adeline), Paul and Douglas (Betty); three sisters, Marie Kimball, Reba Donovan and Wanda Spencer; many nieces and nephews and a beloved cousin, Betty Marsh Dunn.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Ed Hinkson. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church.
