Carline Grady, age 88, passed away on February 26, 2026. Carline was born on January 10, 1938, in Manila, Arkansas to Earl and Dessie Pearson.
Carline lived a life filled with passion, kindness, and warmth. She touched the hearts of those around her through her career as a talented cosmetologist and a dedicated pharmacy technician, serving at Dunn’s in Rose City and Mark’s in Sherwood. Carline was known for her vibrant personality, often sharing her radiant spirit at local bingo games at the Sherwood Center. She also delighted in spending her time at the slot machines, recalling fond memories made in Helena, Oak Lawn, and West Memphis. Carline also had a flair for cooking and baking. She was especially known for her homemade chicken and dumplings, German chocolate cake, and mac and cheese, all of which were dishes that brought comfort and joy to countless gatherings.
Carline is survived by her husband, Harold Grady; daughter, Kimberly Nash; grandchildren, Michael Devin McCulley and Sarah McKenzie Nash; great-grandchildren, Jameson Cash McCulley and Waylon Hayes McCulley; son-in-law, Billy Nash; stepdaughter, Sheila Jordan, Teresa Gilliam, Rhonda Grady; stepson's, Petey Grady, and Chris Grady; and brother, Jerry Pearson.
She is preceded by her parents, Earl and Dessie Pearson; siblings, Betty Ford, Nellie Rayder, Linda Edwards, Brenda Harmon, Pete Pearson, and Rickie Davis.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow (1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114).
