Carol Etta Holloway Ball

Carol Etta Holloway Ball passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was born in Blackrock, Arkansas on December 3, 1944. She is preceded in death by her brother, Sam Holloway. She is survived by her sister, Ann Garner; husband, Monty Ball; daughters Ella Clark and Anita Moore; grandchildren, Samantha Clark, Jessica White, and Parker Moore; great-grandchildren, Jett Clark, Levi “Beckett” Smith, Easton White, Jaxtyn White, and Raelynn White.

Carol was a long time active member of Antioch Baptist Church. She attended Arkansas School for the Deaf and graduated from Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA.

She taught us to never be afraid of the world, as she blazed a path for being the first deaf woman to be employed at Timex.

Although Carol was small in stature,  her heart, humor, smile and unconditional love were endless and touched those she met. Carol embodied the grace and tenacity to succeed despite challenges and tough times she faced. She will be remembered as a caring and generous person to any and all that met her. A fierce protector of her family. Leaving a legacy of strength, perseverance, and optimism.

Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
