Mrs. Carol Ann Calhoun Files, 70, of Little Rock, passed away January 9, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Born January 21, 1947 to John C. and Elizabeth Kirkwood Calhoun. She married Charles N. Files on April 24, 1976 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She worked in the banking profession (Worthen Bank and Regions Bank) for close to forty years before retiring in 2013 as Assistant Vice President. She was a Methodist through the First United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She enjoyed reading mystery books and watching the wildlife who visited her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, John Charles Files.

Survivors are her husband, Charles N. Files; son, Robert E. (Kelly) Yancey, Jr. and two grandsons, Lucas C. Yancey and Coby Files; her brother, John C. (Mary Jane) Calhoun; three step-daughters, Lynda Bradshaw of Dallas, Texas, Tamie R. (Drew) Paccione of Bonita Springs, Florida and Kimberly L. Fooks of Haskell, Arkansas; step-son, Tim E. (Dana) Files of Austin, Arkansas; their children and grandchildren; a niece, Betsy Lomas and her son, Will Lomas.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11 from 7-9 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, January 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to C.A.R.T.I. Center, 8901 CARTI Way, Little Rock, AR 72205, (501)906-4429.
