Carol Jean Land

Carol Jean Land, 85, of North Little Rock passed away on March 16, 2024 following a brief illness.   She was born in Sacramento, California on October 19, 1938, the only child of the late Elmo and Shirley Armagost.   She was a member of Fellowship North and a loving caregiver to many friends.  

For 53 years she was the faithful wife of Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Charles Paul Land, until his death in 2009.   They were preceded in death by their son, Richard Land. Carol was also preceded in death by her dear friend and companion, Harvey Gardner.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law:  Douglas Land and David and Tami Land; three grandchildren:  Samantha Gray (Chris), Matthew Land (Leila) and Chloe Land; three great-grandchildren:  Jackson, Cadence and Daizie.

Carol will be inurned at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas.  501-758-1170.
