Carol Maurice “Buddy” Lynch of Hot Springs, passed away, Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was retired from Reynolds Metal where he was a pipefitter and also serviced in the Air Force where he was a Jet Mechanic.

He was born on March 30, 1937, the son of Carl Thomas Lynch and Evelyn Rainwater Lynch. On December 11, 1964 he married the love of his life, Faye Coburn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, his parents, brother Carl Lynch, sister Mary Wilson, father in law and mother in law William and Scottie Coburn and brother in law Charles Coburn.

He was a member of First Baptist church of Hot Springs. He was a kind and loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his four children and their spouses: Tanda Lynch of Hot Springs, Chris and LeaAnn Lynch, Pheba, Mississippi, George and Sherry Lynch of Royal, John and Sheila Lynch of Hot Springs. Six grandchildren: Grant and Maddie Lynch, William and Kara Lynch, Lauren and Chris Uppole, Jacob and Kandis Lynch, Cora Pennington and Lakyn Johnson. 5 great grandchildren: Blakely Lynch, Bristol Lynch, Tristin, Serenity and Thorin Pennington. 3 brothers and their spouses: Warren Lynch, Phillip and Pam Lynch, Wayne and Marty Lynch

Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of CHI 2 East and 2 West. There care for our dad was so special. Special thank you to Rebeka, Ken, Gretal, Tavia and Madison there were so many more that I can’t remember all their names, just know your care of our dad and the kindness you showed him did not go unnoticed. 

Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church In Hot Springs. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.
