Carolyn M. Knight Jenders, 80, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, March 4, 2013. She was a good loving wife, caring mother, wonderful grandmother, and a role model for her children. Carolyn graduated from Mount St. Mary's Academy in 1950. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a former PTO President and served various roles in the school. She was employed in the Division of Legislative Audit for the State of Arkansas from 1966 until her retirement in 1994.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Philip A. Jenders, of North Little Rock; son, Tony Jenders and wife, Judy, of Little Rock; daughters, Phyllis DeClerk and husband, Tom of Little Rock and Sue Balest and husband, Phil, of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Amanda Baugher, Thomas DeClerk, III, Andrew DeClerk and Maria Balest; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Rose, of Jefferson City, Missouri.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
