Carolyn Sue Lamb

Carolyn Sue Lamb, of Beebe, passed away December 11, 2022 after a long hard battle with dementia.  Sue was born on November 29, 1951 to Edward Lee and Helen Jewell Askins of Swifton, Arkansas.

Sue loved her family - she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Sue took pride in being a homemaker and loved gardening and working in her flower beds.  She also loved jewelry and had quite the collection that she’s handed down to her daughters and granddaughters.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen Askins; three brothers, Victor (Jinks) Askins, Darrell Askins, Eddie Lee Askins; and one sister, Joyce Ann Fason.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Jackie Lamb; two daughters, Cassie (Jodie) Allen, Wendy Bivens; one sister, Vivian Claiborne; and five grandchildren, Austin, Melanie, Alli, Jake and Wade.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 17^th at 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.  Interment will be at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Beebe.
