Carrie Frances (Wilkerson) Hargrove age 91 of Springboro, Ohio departed this life on November 2, 2011. She was born on January 24, 1920 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to William Edward and Cora Gladys (Riddell) Wilkerson. In her early years, she worked at Young's and West's Department Stores (Brinkley and North Little Rock, Arkansas) in the shoe department. She attended Pike Avenue Baptist Church (North Little Rock, Arkansas) for 34 years where she worked in the nursery, taught sunday school and loved cooking and serving for various groups and pot lucks. She later spent 15 years in Sarasota, Florida. She attended the First Baptist Church where she prepared and served the Wednesday meal for many years. Carrie was a caring person who was loving and faithful to her family, friends and church. She is preceded in death by her Husband of 54 years, Elmer Hargrove, her Son, Larry Oneal Hargrove, her parents, a Sister, Maxine Byasee and numerous extended family and friends. She is survived by her Son, Gary Hargrove, a Daughter in law, Linda Hughes Hargrove, 2 Grandchildren, Jeremy Hargrove and Jynnifer (Brian) Schlise, and 4 Great Grandchildren, Jered Pritchett, Emily, Amanda and Sarah Schlise all of Springboro, Ohio. A Sister, Nina (Clay) Koistinen of Boulder City, Nevada, a Brother, Thomas Oneal Wilkerson of San Antonio, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends. A service to celebrate her long and blessed life will be held on Thursday, November 10th. The family will be available starting at 12pm with a service at 1pm at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
