Cecil Curtis Johnson

Cecil Curtis Johnson, age 85, of Delight, went to his eternal home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was born on May 27, 1927 at Delight, the son of Richard Garland Johnson and Annie Mason Johnson. On June 30, 1951, he was married to Billie Johnson. He was a retired lumber inspector with Anthony Timberland and a member of the Delight First Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Billie J. Johnson of Delight; three children and their spouses, Clint Johnson of Delight, Donna Simmons and her husband, Wallace, of Sheridan and Jeana Francis and her husband, Dewain, of Amity; his granddaughter, Devin Roswell and her husband, Ben, of Stuttgart; his great-grandson, Dakota Anthony Frazier of Stuttgart; and his brother, Richard Ray Johnson of Hemet, California. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with the Revs. David Walker, Bruce Francis and Wallace Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Delight Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Douglas Jarrell, A. J. Price, Dewain Francis, Jerry Parks, Wallace Simmons and Ben Roswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Johnson, David Johnson, Kenneth Teeter and Rev. Jerry Jester.
