Cecil Golden

Cecil Golden, age 88, of Mount Ida, died Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was born on August 30, 1922 at Hopper, the son of John Golden and Nancy Thomas Golden. He was a retired logging contractor. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Ann Scurlock and Allen and Donna Golden, all of Mount Ida; and his nephew, Chuck Golden of Hopper. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, in the Hopper Cemetery with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
