Cecil (Junior) Hendrickson, Jr.

Cecil “Junior” Hendrickson, Jr., 91 of Floral, Arkansas, left this earth to be with our Lord at his home on Friday June 5, 2026. He was the child of Cecil and Ruth Hendrickson, born in Mount Vernon, Arkansas on February 27, 1935.

He married his wife of 42 years, Joyce, on November 23, 1983. Together they built a life of strong family values. He will always be remembered for his story telling, love of softball and the way he lived to go coon hunting. Cecil was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, in Floral, for many years.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Ruth Hendrickson, two brothers Delmer Hendrickson and Dub Hendrickson; four sisters Clara Carier, Gladys Taylor, Jennie Lee Brassfield and Minnie Lee Nixon.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Hendrickson of Floral; two children Sandy Hendrickson of Oxford, Arkansas and Sona Weyer of Floral; stepchildren Gerard Fry of Malvern and Crystal Long of Cabot; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, June 11th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 Dewitt Henry Drive, Beebe. Funeral services are Friday morning, June 12th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home. Burial at the Decker Family Cemetery, Tylar Road, Wilburn, Arkansas at 1:30 p.m.
