Cecil Howard Webb, Jr., 84, of Maumelle, AR went to be with the Lord March 22, 2019. He was born January 2, 1935 in Jonesboro, AR to Cecil Webb, Sr., and Ora Mae Webb. He was predeceased by his first wife Shelba Jean, daughter, Martha Nordman, son-in-law, Ronnie Nordman, grandsons, Wayne and Billy Nordman, sister, Shirley Woods and son-in-law, Bruce Mayo.
Cecil was a teacher and taught in the Arkansas State School System for 38 years. The last school he taught at was Little Rock Central High School. He was a bi-vocational Southern Baptist Preacher. After retirement he worked at Enterprise-Rent-a-Car. He and Jessie enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Hawaii and Alaska. He was also a history buff and loved visiting historical places.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Mayo and Diana Twisdale (LeRoy) and his wife, Jessie of thirty seven years and her children who were special to him, Mark Lively (Petra), DeeAnn Morgan (George) LeeAnn Briley (Brian) and Nanette Lively; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; sister Linda Wood (Bill) and brother, Philip Webb.
A celebration of Cecil's life will be held, Tuesday, March, 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home with Don Cooper officiating.
