Charlene Gresham

Charlene M. Gresham, 85, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born April 28, 1931 at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, to Elwood and Mary (Roush) Mangum. She passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Charlene served in the U.S. Air Force. She worked as a registered nurse for thirty years. Charlene was warm and welcoming and her home was open to all. Everyday simple pleasures were what made her happy.

She is survived by a sister, Maxine Rister; her children, Carol Barnard, Patricia Gresham Tober, James (Virginia) Gresham, Jr., Donald Gresham and Cynthia Murray; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Gresham, and her parents.

Visitation will begin at noon Monday, January 16, 2017, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Romance Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
