Charles Herman Barber, 67, of Pine Bluff, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired after 30 years from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Barber of Little Rock; brothers, Ronnie Barber (Evelyn) of Greenbrier and J. W. Barber (Bessie) of Warren; sisters, Charlene Gammel and Mildred Balwin (Jake), both of Pine Bluff and Joann Lovelady of Hot Springs; and one grandson, Charles Gage Barber.
Graveside service with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. A memorial service will follow at Showdown on West 28th Street in Pine Bluff.
