Charles Robert Blagg, 93, passed away on May 11th, 2026, in Little Rock, AR. Born on February 22, 1933, in El Dorado, AR., Charles lived a full life, dedicated to family, faith, and a commitment to career and service.

Charles was a proud graduate of Little Rock Central High School in 1951. He served on active duty in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955, stationed in Munich, Germany, and later continued his service in both the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1993. Charles had a deep appreciation for American and military history that reflected both his service and personal interests, including a profound love of Westerns and War movies. He also devoted over three decades to the United States Army Corps of Engineers from 1960-1994, serving primarily as a draftsman, where his work ethic and personality left a lasting impression on colleagues, and earned him many life-long friends.

Charles was an active member of several churches over his lifetime, serving as a teacher, leader, Deacon and Trustee, activities including Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs and numerous church committees. He also contributed to the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. His faith was central to his life, guiding him in his devotion to family and community.

Charles' passions over his lifetime included fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing, bowling, table tennis, golf, and was an avid spectator of other sports, especially the Arkansas Razorback programs. He served for approximately 50 years as an usher at War Memorial Stadium for Razorback football games. He was a dedicated fan for decades of "The Price is Right" television show

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine (Balcome Miller) Blagg of Little Rock; their children: Mary (Bill) Baker of Wynne, David (Bonnie) Miller of Tulsa, OK; Donnie Blagg of Fayetteville, Robert Dale (Lilian) Blagg of Athens, Greece; grand-daughters Evangelia Blagg and Eleni Blagg, great grandson George Blagg-Petropoulos, sister-in-laws Jennifer Blagg of Missouri and Lynn Blagg of Little Rock, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Edna (Malone) Blagg; sister Margaret Jo Nix; brother A.L. "Buddy" Blagg; brother Gene A. Blagg: and half-sister Juanita Buck.

A visitation will be held on My 18th, 2026, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 19th at 10:00 AM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home followed by burial at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Charles's legacy is one of love, dedication, and service to his family, colleagues, church, community, and country. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and felt the impact of his life.
