Charles "Charlie" Edward Kimbrell

Charles “Charlie” Edward Kimbrell, 83, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was born November 4, 1938 to the late Ivy and Ludie Kimbrell of England, Arkansas.

Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 66 years, Martha Henderson Kimbrell; children, Debbie Muller (Sonny) and Randy Kimbrell (Beth); grandchildren, Brooks Muller, Molly Miller (Keith), T.J. Kimbrell (Carrie), Gracie Kimbrell, and Michael McKinnis (Tomiko); and three great-grandchildren, Kylie Kimbrell, Macy Miller and Knox Miller – all of whom he adored and was very proud of.

He joined the Air Force National Guard at 16 years old and served 36 years and retired as a First Seargent. Charlie had a great sense of community service. He served as NLR Airport Commissioner and NLR Alderman for Ward Four.  He was a natural born salesman and sold heavy equipment for many years. He loved being outdoors whether it was in the yard or in his shop restoring old street rods. He loved his family and treasured spending time with them especially when it involved an outdoor project. Charlie loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Most mornings he could be found at the donut shop catching up with his buddies. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Charlie led a full and happy life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice Hospital for exhibiting compassion while providing care and support for Charles and his family during his final days.
