Charles Wayne Edwards, 57, of Scott passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008. He was an avid sportsman, animal lover and a farmer. He was in the last graduating class of Scott High School in 1969, President of the Student Counsel and member of the Honor Society. Charles was employed by Dillards Corporation in data control for 18 years.
He is survived by his father and mother, Charles Roy and Ina Louise Edwards, of North Little Rock; brothers, James Phillip Edwards and Rev. William Roy Edwards (Rhonda), all of North Little Rock; sister, Ann Williams (Sidney) of Houston, Texas; special friend, Rentha Lovelady; step son, Donavan Pierce (Tammy) of Little Rock; two granddaughters; one grandson; and many nieces, nephews and close family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Edwards; and son, Wayne (Weee) Edwards.
Memorials may be made to Rose City Church of the Nazarene, 4611 Lynch Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
