Charles Garner, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away on October 31, 2026. Born on July 23, 1940, to George Wylie and Gladys Garner, Charles's life was a testament to hard work, faith, and an enduring love for family and nature.
He is lovingly remembered by his three sons, Corky (Donna), Rusty (DD), and Ronnie Harris, as well as his daughter, Mischelle McGhee (Ken). Charles's legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A devoted husband to his late wife, Phyllis, Charles was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mary McReynolds, John Garner, Virginia Thompson, Betty Johnson, Gladys Midget, G.W. Garner, and his daughter, Renee Burns.
After a career as a bricklayer spanning over 50 years, Charles embraced the joys of retirement with a passion for camping, hunting, and fishing. His love for gardening and farming brought him peace and simple joy. Baptized in 1980, Charles was a faithful follower of Jehovah, a role he held dear.
A graduate of North Little Rock High School, Charles was known for his kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand. His warm spirit and genuine care for others made him a great man to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
