Charles Goodman

Charles Goodman age 73, of Gurdon, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his daughter’s home. He was born September 9, 1947 to Elvin and Nodie Otts Goodman. Charles was a retired millwright and welder. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling any backroad that he could find.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Goodman, a daughter, Tracy Goodman and a son, Rodney Burris.

Survivors are one daughter, Ashley Goodman (James Wrinkle) of Gurdon; two sons, David Burris (April) of Arkadelphia and Tim Burris (Julie) of Gurdon; eleven grandchildren including Cameron Stovall who lived with him; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Dennis Williams (Susan) of Gurdon.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Rose Hill Sycamore Cemetery near Beirne with Bro. Donnie Deaton officiating.
