Charles Nolen Gray, age 79, of Point Cedar passed away quietly at his home on Saturday, July 9, 2011. He was born at Tinsman, Arkansas on March 31, 1932. His parents were Dewey Davied and Birdie Gardner French. He retired from Lion Oil Co. in El Dorado, AR. and was a member of Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip Gray and Davied French.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Janette Ogden Gray; his son, Mike Gray and wife Sherry of Jonesboro, AR; sister-in-law, Janice Hughes and husband, Harold of Magnolia, AR; a host of relatives, friends and cousins including a special cousin, Gerald Nutt and wife, Ann of Fordyce, AR.
A celebration of life service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 10th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Danny Kilcrease officiating. Visitation will 1:30 PM Sunday until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Youth Group at Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
