Charles Johnston

Charles Johnston Sr. age 74 of Beebe went to be with the Lord July 23, 2020.  He was born in Paragould, Ar. On August 19, 1945.

Charles was a Vietnam veteran with 22 years active duty and 19 years DOD Federal Civil Service in the United States Air Force. He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved his family and he loved the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon Johnston and Eulah Johnston, and stepmother Katherine Johnston.

Charles is survived by his wife Judy Johnston of 47 years; three children Amber Burgess (Brandon), Charles Johnston Jr. (Amy), and Robert Johnston; grandchildren Braeden Burgess and Leksy Johnston' sister Glenda Webster; stepbrothers Bill Tolley and Bobby Tolley; stepsister Sharon Bellinger, as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2020 at Smith – Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 10 AM Tues July 28, with Entombment at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  State of Arkansas COVID-19 directives:  Face coverings required at all times, 50 attendees or less.  Maintain social distancing.  No hugs or handshakes please.
