Charles John "Tuna" McGrath died peacefully in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 28th 2016 at the age of 54. Charles is survived by his daughter, Emma Leanne Miles of Board Camp, Arkansas; brothers, Sean McGrath of Zachary, Louisiana and Danny McGrath of Vinton, Louisiana; sisters, Ann Marie Matheny of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Hilda McGrath of Biloxi, Mississippi and Sharon Shamburger of Owasso, Oklahoma; stepmother, Nancy Lee McGrath of Cameron, Texas; stepbrothers, Charles Crockett of Atlanta, Georgia and Casey Crockett of Temple, Texas; stepsisters, Melody Hill of Cameron, Texas, Monica Crockett of Birmingham, Alabama and Melissa Talley of Cove, Arkansas; fiancée, Glenda Hagood of Gillham, Arkansas; 12 nephews, 13 nieces and one set of twin grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Francis McGrath, formerly of Breax Bridge, Louisiana.
Charles was born on September 20th 1962 in Yonkers, New York to Charles and Hilda McGrath. He attended Big Spring School District from 1972 to 1980. Charles served in the United States Marine Corps. After moving to Vinton, Louisiana he worked at Delta Downs, which is where he found his love of training horses and the outdoors. Charles found comfort in the 23rd Psalm; he loved people and animals. One of his favorite sayings was ‘Never give up".
