Charles Lawson Overstreet age 79 of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born June 29, 1933 in Rosebud the son of the late Charlie Everett and Elberta Wilkinson Overstreet. He was a retired welder/fabricator and an active member of Boughton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Kelley Marlar Overstreet and daughter Sharon Kay Overstreet.
Survivors include Steve (Gaylee) Overstreet of Collierville, TN, two grandsons, Clint (Charlotte) Overstreet of Germantown, TN and Tony (Erika) Overstreet of Bartlett, TN, four great granddaughters, Sophia, Anna, Ada, and Miriam, and one great grandson, Chaffee.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, June 21st in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Dr. Scott Jackson and Robbie O'Neal officiating. Burial will be in the DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, AR. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff and management of Twin Rivers Health & Rehab. for the loving care given to our Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boughton Baptist Church, 212 Nevada 251, Prescott, AR 71857.
