Charles Porter

Charles "Temp" Porter, age 67, of Fancy Hill, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011. He was born on February 12, 1944 at Hopper, the son of Harve Porter and Alice Miller Porter. On August 4, 1963, he was married to Vicky Story. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Wayne Porter. He was a retired timber faller and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors are his wife, Vicky Porter of Fancy Hill; his son, John Porter of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Norma Porter of Fancy Hill and Shelley Bailey of Kirby; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five brothers, Henry Porter, Carl Porter, and Coleman Porter all of Oregon, Kelsey Porter of Hopper and Don Porter of Gurdon; two sisters, Opal Ledbetter of Gurdon and Gladys Fryar of Hopper; and several nieces and nephews.
