Charles Russell Womble, Sr.

Charles Russell Womble, Sr., 88, of North Little Rock passed away October 16, 2025.

Charles, known to some family members as "Russell", started his working career as a carpenter with his father. He then spent several years in the furniture manufacturing business. He later was employed as a district route manager for the Arkansas Democrat newspaper. He lived the majority of his life in the North Little Rock area with his wife of 61 years, Hazel.

Charles loved music and collected records since his childhood. He also was a huge fan of old western movies and had a collection of those as well

He was preceded in death by wife Hazel and son John

Survived by son, Charles (Rusty) Womble, Jr, (Wife Susan) daughter, Karen Lemons, (Husband, Marvin),daughter, Sheila Cobb, (Husband, Kevin) and; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

.Funeral Service and Interment is 2:00 PM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot, AR.
