Charles "Wayne" Wilkins

Charles “Wayne” Wilkins, age 80, of Sparkman passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026. He was born March 22, 1946 in Sparkman, Arkansas to the late John D. and Ruby B. (Williams) Wilkins. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building bird houses. He had a long career in the cable and fiberoptics industry. Wayne was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparkman. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara (Drummond) Wilkins; and sister, Johnette Garrett.

Survivors include his children Tammy Porter (Bob) and Brad Wilkins (Michelle); grandchildren, Megan Porter Sadler (Hunter), Ryan and Tanner Crumpton, and Brennan Wilkins; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Sadler; and sister, Phyllis Ramsay.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at DeLamar Cemetery with Brother Wayne Daniels officiating. Pallbearers are Jeff McJunkins, Tanner McJunkins, Corey Ramsay, Ethan Ramsay, Michael Wylie, and Richard Wylie. Honorary Pallbearer is Mike Rucker. Memorials may be made to DeLamar Cemetery Association.
