Charles Winbury

Charles Michael Winbury, age 75, of East End, entered his heavenly home surrounded by his family on May 5, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1945. Charles was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was also an Army Veteran, where he served a tour in Germany. He later retired from North American Phillips Lighting Company. Charles had a love for the outdoors and spent many years as a member of Potter Creek Hunting Club. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Othel and Virginia Winbury; brother, Jimmy Winbury; and two sisters, Betty and Hazel Eaton.

Charles is survived by his wife, Bobbie Winbury; brother, Billy Bob Winbury; daughters, Gina McMillan (Bret) and Jamie McCall (Truman); grandchildren Cassie Spann (Matt) and Katie Cates (Jordon); Clay McCall, Colby McCall (Savhanna), Jared McCall; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Mikey Winbury and Melissa Mckenzie.

A gathering in remembrance of Charles will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Salem Cemetery with Brother Paul Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:00am prior to the service.
