Charlie Spease

Charlie F. Spease, 75, of Ward went to be with the Lord, December 28, 2017. He was born in Rock Falls Illinois to the late Kenneth and Charlotte Spease.

Charlie also known to many as "Butch", loved hunting, fishing the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, his family and his many, many friends.

Mr. Spease served in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He later retired from the Pulaski County Sherriff's Department.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan; son Matt Spease, and daughter Roxanne (Chris) Burnett; three grandsons, Tony (Chelsea) Jenkins, Ernie (Sara) Jenkins, Eli Burnett; two great-grandchildren Caleb and Emma Jenkins; two brothers, Kenneth (Barb) Spease, and Robert (Sharon) Spease; sister, Judy (Fred) Martinez, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and too many friends to count.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2nd from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday. Cremation arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
