Charlie "Joe" Strayhorn, 70, of McRae, Arkansas, was born November 14, 1942 at McRae, Arkansas to Ollie and Helen (McAfee) Strayhorn, and he died Friday, February 22, 2013. He was a Baptist and loved to hunt and fish more than anything.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Paula Casteen and husband Bland; grandson Joseph Casteen and wife Elizabeth; granddaughter Brittiny Casteen; great-granddaughter Ema Casteen; all of Burkburnett, Texas; his brother, Kenneth Strayhorn and wife Beth; sister Lela Strange; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gloria; and two brothers.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Home Care of Searcy for the wonderful care given to Joe.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Weir Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
