Cherryl Grant

Cherryl Grant, age 77, of Kirby, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

She was born on July 1, 1943, in Bauxite, the daughter of Winston Doster and Ruth Whisenhunt Doster. On November 29, 1959, she was married to Gerald Grant. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Terry Doster; and her infant brother, Royce Doster.

Cherryl was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Always artistic, she loved to paint and quilt.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Grant of Kirby; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Mike Funderburk and Jill and Lynn Tolleson, all of Kirby and Lori and Steven Wozniak of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Molly Angel, Lynsey Langley, Dan Funderburk, Grady Tolleson, Zoe Wozniak and Remy Wozniak; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gail Markham and Dana Horn, both of Glenwood and Tammy Reese of Murphy, Texas; her brother, Kelly Doster of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020, in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Herring and Bro. Melvin Markham officiating.

Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be Mike Funderburk, Lynn Tolleson, Steven Wozniak, Dan Funderburk, Grady Tolleson, Blake Angel and Michael Langley.
