Listen to Obituary

Cheryl Ann Outlaw, of Beebe, AR, passed away on Friday, June 13th, after a 5-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was with her loving Husband, Brother, and Sister-in-Law at the time of her passing in her own home.

Cheryl was born on April 12th, 1960, in the town of Derby, CT at Griffin Hospital, where her mother and, later herself, worked. She was the daughter of Geneveive Camara and Thomas Briggs.

Cheryl graduated from Seymour High School in 1978.

Cheryl married her beloved husband, Robert Outlaw, on April 19th, 1980, and were married for 45 years until her passing. They built a loving home in Beacon Falls, CT. Cheryl and Robert moved to Arkansas to continue their story in 2013 to spend more time with their family.

Cheryl loved to travel with family, ride motorcycles, read books, knitting, and spend time with her husband, children, and bible study friends. Her friends and family will always cherish her smile, infectious laugh, the homemade clothing and Christmas stockings, and the amazing motorcycle and travel stories she would tell.

Remaining to honor her memory are her Husband, Robert Outlaw, her daughter Bridget and her husband Ed Covington, her daughter Robyn and her husband Chris Stamper, her son Robert Outlaw Jr. and his wife Angelina, her brother Mark Briggs and his wife Gail, her brother Paul Briggs and his wife Gayle, her in-laws, Marie, Tommy, Tom and Diane, Kevin and Debby, and her many friends, including Jen and Al, Diane and Ed, Sue and Al, Joan, and Laura.
