Chester Riley, 83, of Wrightsville, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 25, 1926 to Andrew Jackson Riley, Sr. & Willie Utley Riley and passed away on July 10, 2009. He was raised in the Central Arkansas area and is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Andrew Jackson Riley, Jr. Lewis Riley and Virgil Riley. Chester served in the U.S. Marine Corp then later was a merchant Marine for 16 years. He was an independent dump truck owner and operator of Riley Trucking.
He is survived by his daughters: Sandra and her husband Keith Venable of Alexander, Arkansas and Faye and her husband Doug Martin of Romance, Arkansas; grandchildren : Christopher Courtney and Catherine Montgomery; great grandchildren : Riley Courtney and Yazmine Kassees. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock, Arkansas with Rev. Elton Cole officiating.
Interment will be private. We love and will miss our father very much- he was a great man. Arrangements by Huson Funeral Home.
