Christine Elizabeth Reynolds, born on August 16, 1954, in Nacagdoches, Texas, passed away on June 9, 2025 in Sheridan, Arkansas. Christine’s warm presence and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone she met and she will be greatly missed.
After a brain aneurysm and multiple strokes left her disabled at a young age, her strength, determination and unwavering faith in God allowed her to live independently with minimal help up until her passing.
Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy and she loved them deeply, always eager to talk about them or show them off to anyone willing to listen.
Christine is survived by her son, Jerred Smith and wife Heather of Florida; her daughter, Ashlee Hiebert of Benton; and her beloved grandchildren, Luna Davis, Jordyn Ufford, Jaden Hiebert and Lillee Hiebert. She is also survived by her siblings; her brother, Tom Walton and wife Elizabeth of Alaska; her sisters, Kathy Avirett and husband Vince of Texas and Basya Goldstein of Oregon. Christine leaves behind many family members and friends who love her and will miss her forever.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Louise Walton.
Christine was a free spirit who often found solace in nature. She loved her plants and flowers and loved animals. She often enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels. Though she faced many health challenges over the years, her resilience and positivity were an inspiration to many. Her smile, laughter and sweet spirit will live on forever in the memory of those who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made to your local Humane Society in her memory.
